The house has a total of 4 holiday apartments and is situated in an idyllic and extremely peaceful spot between meadows and the edge of the forest, above the mountain hamlet of Völser Aicha. Here you can relax and unwind, sunbathe by the pool, or set off on foot (or by car) on countless hikes.

Tschafon apartment

The Tschafon apartment is located on the first floor and features an open-plan kitchen-diner, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The open-plan kitchen-diner contains a dining table and bench set, which can be converted into a bed in a single simple step if required.

The apartment also has a spacious private sun terrace facing west, complete with a table and chairs, a parasol and two sun loungers. There is also a north-east-facing balcony, where a folding table and chairs invite you to enjoy breakfast in the sun.

Kitchen facilities:
Electric hob with 2 hotplates, fridge, microwave, toaster, moka pot, filter coffee machine, as well as cooking utensils and crockery.

Hammerwand apartment

The Hammerwand apartment is located on the first floor and features an open-plan kitchen and living area, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The living area also has a double sofa bed that can accommodate up to two additional guests.

The apartment also has a private terrace with a table, chairs and a parasol, all facing south with views of the valley.

Kitchen facilities:
Induction hob with 4 hotplates, fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher, toaster, moka pot, filter coffee machine, as well as cooking utensils and crockery.

Schlern apartment

The Schlern apartment is located on the first floor and features a small entrance hall with a coat rack, a kitchen-diner, a bedroom with a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The living room has a double sofa bed that can accommodate up to two additional guests.

The apartment also has a private terrace with a table, chairs and a parasol, all facing south with a view of the valley.

Kitchen facilities:
Induction hob with 4 hotplates, fridge, microwave, oven, toaster, moka pot, filter coffee machine, as well as cooking utensils and crockery.

Latemar apartment

The Latemar apartment is situated on the lower ground floor, facing south with views of the valley. It comprises 2 bedrooms (one with a double bed, one with two single beds), 1 spacious living area with a kitchen, dining table and a double sofa bed, and 1 bathroom with a shower, toilet and bidet.

The apartment also has a private loggia with a table and chairs, two reclining armchairs and a private garden adjoining the loggia with sun loungers, all south-facing and with valley views.

Prices are per day and per apartment, excluding final cleaning and local tax (per person aged 14 and over).
An additional €25.00 per day will be charged for each further guest aged 12 and over.

Bed linen and towels are included in the price for all apartments.

The fully furnished apartments feature Wi-Fi, a radio, digital TV and a hairdryer.
The minimum stay in the apartments is 5 days.

Outdoor area

All guests have free access to the on-site swimming pool, a wooden-decked pool terrace perfect for sunbathing, a spacious sunbathing area with a pergola right by the pool, a table tennis table in the shade of the trees, and a private car park for up to 5 cars. An electric car charging point is available.

Surroundings

The house is the ideal starting point for countless excursions and hikes in the Dolomites, e.g. the Alpe di Siusi, the Sciliar massif, the Völser Weiher, the Rosengarten and the Latemar.

In both summer and winter, two ski and hiking areas can be reached by car in just 15 minutes: Carezza Dolomites (2,340 m) with 14 lifts and 40 km of slopes, and Seiser Alm-Gröden (2,520 m) with 79 lifts and 180 km of slopes. Both areas can also be reached by public transport. The bus stop is about an 8-minute walk from the house.


Some hiking destinations in the immediate vicinity include:

• Oachner Höfeweg
• Hike to Tschafon
• Hiking beneath the Rosengarten
• A visit to the Steger Sawmill at the Schlern-Rosengarten Nature Park Centre
• Hike through the Tschamintal valley
• Walk to Prösels Castle and a guided tour of the castle

In summer, chamber music concerts and theatre performances also take place at the castle.
The towns of Bolzano and Merano are also well worth a visit and offer attractions such as the Archaeology Museum with the world-famous glacier mummy Ötzi, Reinhold Messner’s MMM Messner Mountain Museum, the South Tyrol Museum of Natural History, the enchanting gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle and much more.

The bus stop for the regular service to Tiers, Bolzano, Castelrotto and the Alpe di Siusi is located in the immediate vicinity. The village centre of Völser Aicha can be reached on foot via a footpath through the woods. The local tourist offices organise information evenings about the extensive programme of activities in the mountains, which you can usually attend free of charge.

Directions

Leave the motorway at the Bolzano North exit and then turn left heading north towards Bressanone.
After a few kilometres, you will arrive in the village of Blumau. There you will come to a twin tunnel. Take the left-hand tunnel towards Völs am Schlern.
However, do not continue all the way to Völs am Schlern; instead, turn right at Fausthof (the first opportunity to turn right) towards Völser Aicha, Tiers and the Karer Pass. The road is wide and the turn-off is impossible to miss.

Follow this road uphill until you reach the “Völser Aicha” sign, which is located just before the “Federernatsch” bus stop at the start of a long left-hand bend. After the bend, the road begins to descend and on your left you will see a narrow road leading into the woods. Turn off here (the sign “HAUS DORFER” is displayed). After driving along the forest track for about 300 metres, you will come to a clearing with a car park on your right. You can park there. The house is located just past the car park, on the lower side of the road.

The entire journey from the motorway exit takes just under 20 minutes.
